The first day of school for the 2024/2025 school year will be Tuesday, September 3. School will start at 8:15 and all returning students will line up outside their last year’s classrooms (current classroom) and they will be dismissed from the same classroom. All new students to the school will go to the library and then will be assigned a temporary grade equivalent classroom. Students will be dismissed at 10:15 a.m. on the first day. New Kindergarten students do not attend on the first day of school.
Wednesday, September 4th will be the first full day of school for students in grades 1 - 5. It is unlikely that students will be placed into their regular classes until Thursday or Friday. For the first few days, students will rotate through stations, reviewing school routines and school wide SOAR expectations. It is important that your child is in attendance for the first week of school, as our staffing and in-catchment counts will be based on the number of students attending during this first week.
